Description
(from the site)
"This site has been designed to bring together resources and materials from around the country in support of academic librarians interested in pursuing their own professional development in the field of teaching and learning, and in support of instruction coordinators and other library administrators hoping to support a culture of teaching in their organizations. This site is being developed in conjunction with an ongoing research project entitled Instructional Improvement in Academic Libraries: A National Study of Professional Practices. It brings together examples of research and practice in instructional improvement programs in academic libraries. To date, many of these resources have been accessible only through personal Web pages and individual library Web sites. My hope is that by bringing these resources together we can move from a series of grassroots efforts toward a national view of best practices for helping librarians develop as teachers."
