Description

Hello, this is the starting page for the Computer Class Teaching Guide Wiki Project!

My goal with this wiki project is to provide a collaborative environment in which we can all work on, add to, and edit our computer class teaching materials.

To add to/edit these pages, you'll need to have a login here at the instructionwiki. It's very easy to get a login - just click the button to register, give yourself a user name and password, and then come back to this page. The "Log in or Register" link should be in the top right corner of this page, in the blue title bar.

To edit this page, click the "Edit" tab at the top, or the word Edit (in blue) to the right side of each main section. You will be taken to the edit view of the same page or part of the page.

At that point, you can add in what you would like to write.

You will probably see the use of some symbols and brackets at various points, but if you don't feel comfortable using them, don't worry about it. URL's, if you type them all the way out with the http and everything, will automatically become hyperlinks.

We can't upload any screenshots or files to this wiki, but we can still refer to our handouts and resources - Maybe I can put them someplace online so we can link to them here if that seems to be something that we need.

If you don't feel comfortable editing a page directly, click the "Discussion" tab at the top of a page, and offer suggestions there. Add new "discussions" at the top, just like replying to an email. I'll put a not there so that you can see what I'm talking about.
